How much does it cost?

This would be like asking how much does it cost to build a house?  The factors in determining price include the detailed scope of services, level of quality for all materials, features within the space, size of the room or rooms to be renovated, access to the work and more.  We’re happy to share our typical range of costs for our renovations and can recommend solutions based on your all-in budget.  Once a budget is set, we focus on only providing design options within budget so there are no overruns or change orders.  We take your budget seriously and the only time you’ll see a change order is if you change the scope of services, select materials that are above the agreed allowance or in rare cases we may find some unforeseen structural or safety hazard behind the surfaces that must be addressed.

How long does it take?

We aim to minimize disruptions to your life by ordering materials in advance, staging them prior to beginning construction and focusing on your project full-time while adhering to the allowable working hours.  On average, flooring projects are done within a week, bathrooms complete within two weeks, kitchens finished within three weeks and much larger home renovations can take between one and three months depending on the size and scope.  Architectural plan development, plan reviews and approvals, zoning reviews and approvals, rough inspections, final inspections, certificates of occupancy, etc. can all affect the timeline.  Not all projects will require permits.  Contact us today to let us guide you through the process and help with your renovations!

Do you offer a warranty?

Absolutely! We stand behind the quality of our work and include a 1-year warranty on all parts and labor in our standard contract.  We love our clients, so if there’s ever anything you need, please let us know!

How much is your deposit?

For most smaller projects, half up front and half when we’re complete works best for convenience.  Larger projects typically include a deposit between 10% and 25% with progress payments based on % complete.  We’re flexible with these schedules and can discuss when signing the contract to begin.

Where do I sign?

As a professional Design-Build General Contractor in NJ, we are required to produce a written agreement signed by both parties to which includes the name, address, state registration number, start and end date of the work and scope of services.  We will send you a contract to review and sign electronically through DocuSign.
